About Kolvas

Kolvas is a grassroots, queer-run collective curating accessible survival resources for people navigating poverty, homelessness, chronic illness, gender transition, and state repression. We believe that access to life-saving information shouldn't depend on your zip code, income, or identity.

Why We Exist

Survival information is deliberately suppressed. Whether you're trans and can't access HRT, disabled and navigating a hostile benefits system, or an activist trying to stay safe, finding trustworthy resources is exhausting and confusing.

Our Principles

How to Get Involved

Action Details
Use the Resources That's what they are here for.
Spread the Word Print our flyers(due for an update), stick our stickers, and share the link with people who need it.
Report Issues Found a broken link? Email us at k0lvas@proton.me.
Start Your Own Take what we've built, adapt it to your region, and make it better. That's literally the point of mutual aid.

Funding & Transparency

Kolvas is run entirely by volunteers. None of our core team members are employed by this project.

We cover operational costs, printing, and distribution through:

  • Small donations from the community.
  • Merchandise sales (RedBubble).
  • Our own pockets.

If you have the means, buying a sticker or donating through Ko-fi helps us keep the lights on. If you don't, please just use the site. That's what it's here for.
